One Zero One - The Story of Cybersissy & BayBjane / One Zero One - Die Geschichte von Cybersissy & BayBjane

Do Yourself

The performer Mourad is the world's shortest drag queen who has encountered a whole set of limitations due to his physical body. A lot of these he did not take with such grace initially - not even the glass eye that he now switches for a glowing one shall the show demand it. The academic painter Antoine found immense potential for eccentric performance in Moraud and thus the character BayBJane was born, the perfect match to Antoine's already iconic alter ego CyberSissy. The duo calls themselves "Cyberstars" and produces opulent "dramasences" accompanied by music of Gustav Mahler, stars on the international gay club scene, takes the audience's breath away with their fantasy artistic setups and does not shy away from directly reacting to current politics. Their often bizarre creations pour out joy, a unique visual attitude mixed with meticulous fascination with detail. A musical-visual orgy of a documentary maps the duo's journey and the in words ungraspable production celebrating courage, creativity and diversity.
