A student jury evaluates the festival’s short films and hands out the award for Best Short Fiction Film.

Elísabet Elma Guðrúnardóttir

Elísabet has a background in Film and Gender studies from the University of Iceland, and University of Keele in England. After graduation she moved to Prague and enrolled in FAMU. In 2015 her first short documentary, Queer Fish, got selected for Slovak Queer Film Festival in Bratislava. Elísabet is exploring fiction filmmaking as well. She is also part of Girls Rock! Iceland, a non-profit organisation working to empower girls, trans boys, genderqueer and intersex youth through music.

Bernd Seliger 

Originally from Munich, Bernd went to Brussels to study Comic Arts. After his graduation he decided to stay in Belgium and has worked as artist, free-lance illustrator, graphic-/web designer and art director. In 2010 he created his own company with clients like Levi Strauss&Co., Biotherm and Dockers, but also musicians and artists from many different
fields. Since September 2017 he is studying documentary filmmaking at Prague Film School.

 Adéla Šmerdová

Adéla is a student at the Film Studies Department at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University. She also holds a degree in social work. The last few months, however, have seen her focusing mainly on her son, Benedikt. In the audiovisual world, she prefers series to films, although she adores Scandinavian and Hollywood films. She cooperates with the National Film Archive and is a part of the PR teams at the Zlatý voči and Film Sokolov festivals.
