This unique montage of programmes by lesbians for lesbians offers a unique insight into art, politics, sport, films, and sex. But how to get them if you don't exactly belong to, for example, traditional gender labels or you identify with the LGBTQ+ community? Mezipatra's biggest party is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the festival's 20th birthday. Once again, the party takes place in the Mecca of Prague nightlife, Ankali club in Vršovice, and only the best DJs will perform there. You can look forward to Still Sparkling, Ncol, and Motch. The headliner will be a co-founder of the Lecken queer collective, DJ Killa, who performs at such renowned Berlin clubs as Tresor and Griessmühle.

To get the funding for making a short film means not only filling in a lot of paperwork and defending the script, but also, for example, arranging enough dyed feathers to fulfill your artistic vision. But getting your financing approved is far from the end of your worries. The evening program by New Aliens and ALVO producstion consists of the screening of the first part of the short film Lights on Me, release of books from two models of New Aliens Agency, set by DJ Mor Wen, exhibition of movie's BTS and editorial of Barbara Gorbunová. Lights on Me is a student experimental documentary film that aims to present stories of people who are different from normality given by society. They do not meet the common standard of beauty, don't go with established social system, or just have not been so fortunate in their lives. These are models from the New Aliens Agency. What is the life story of one of them? His feelings, experiences, thoughts? All this is portrayed through a sincere testimony supported by original visual style.

Can porn serve as a means to fight heteronormativity? According to the lectors of the educational platform Sex School Hub, the answer is definitely yes! At the workshop, you‘ll also learn how to shoot your own porn as a medium of protest, and we’ll discuss porn in the context of sex education. As tradition dictates, we'll recapitulate prizes already awarded be juries in Prague and we'll announce the winner of the audience award. As soon as the lights come back on in Art cinema, the final tones of the 20th Mezipatra will soothe the fragile feelings after such an intense cultural and social experience. The rhythmic beats of DJs Miltz, Fofela and burning and Tom Holič's live music won't let you down: they will take you high to the final ecstasy, a sweet memory to survive the whole year until Mezipatra 2020. If music can't keep you happy, you'll get some cake. Twenty years is twenty years after all.
