• On Friday, November 17, the closing ceremony in Brno concluded the Mezipatra Queer Film Festival. 
  • Altogether, the festival’s 24th edition with the theme of Crossroads introduced 69 feature, short and documentary films.
  • The Audience Award, created by DECHEM design studio, went to the feature debut of Fireworks (Stranizza d'amuri) by the Italian director Giuseppe Fiorello.
  • Mezipatra awarded prizes to the best films of the 24th edition during a ceremony at Lucerna Cinema.
  •  The winner of the main jury prize was the South Korean feature film Peafowl (Gong-jak-sae) directed by Sung-bin Byun. The short films Blond Night (Nuit Blonde) and Neo Nahda also impressed the student jury.
  • A total of 69 feature-length and short films were showcased at the festival with the theme "Crossroads." The program also included accompanying events and Q&A sessions with international guests.

  • The 24th edition of QFF Mezipatra will feature a total of 69 films. Ten feature films from around the world will compete for the main jury award. Highly anticipated films include the French melodrama Passages,  the study of human relationships Bones and Names (Knochen und Namen), and the Brazilian film from the Locarno Film Festival Rule 34 (Regra 34).
  • The festival will take place from November 2nd to 9th in Prague and from November 10th to 17th in Brno. 
  • Festival season passes are available at a discounted price until October 21st.
