A son has been gathering courage for a long time to ask his mother a crucial question. But she's so absorbed by everyday banalities and her own sense of satisfaction that she ignores all attempts at a dialogue between equals. Her son thus has no other option but to wait somewhere between the sink and the fridge, looking out for his mother's open arms.
