The discussion will focus on making LGTBQ+ and human-rights films accessible to as many people as possible. Today's distribution environment, where cinemas and festivals are rivalled by the upcoming streaming services, makes it increasingly harder to address wider audiences. The benefits of curating supervision, targeted marketing, and the role of algorithms will be discussed by Jakub Mróz (president of distribution brand Tongariro Releasing specialized in LGBT films, PL), Tom Abell (distributor, Peccadillo Pictures, GB), Julio Marmol Corbacho (distributor FilmDoo, GB) and Ana David (Berlinale Panorama, PT). The event will be hosted by queer activist and former Mezipatra director Aleš Rumpel. The discussion will be in English only.
