Queer Blender
An artist breaks an image of a cowboy boot with spurs to show that the identity behind the boots is not stable, but determined by time. She alludes to the power of performative acts and the almost obsessive need for self-presentation in the virtual environment. The film toys with the power dynamics of those who have spurs and those who have to subject themselves to them. From a gallery to a cinema screen, here comes Sugar be my caramel: Duel.
