Are our ancestors’ mistakes to blame for our gender identity? Grandma is convinced her grandchild is possessed by the spirit of an unborn sister who is blocking masculine energy. In this personal documentary, director Zhou Hao closely follows their relatives’ efforts to exorcise their queer identity, exploring what one can sacrifice for the sake of family happiness.
