The student jury at Mezipatra evaluates the short films submitted for the competition and awards the Best Short Film Award.


Kája Hru 

Kája is an artist completing a master’s degree at the Faculty of Art and Design, Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. They studied abroad at HfBK in Dresden and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. Kája co-founded Ústí Pride and has curated the Queer & Film screenings at Kino Hraničář since 2025. Their artistic practice focuses on storytelling through moving image, painting, and installation, often with a socially critical perspective.


Michal Sikora 

Michal studied acting at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava and continued at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre at DAMU in Prague. He has performed at the National Theatre, Husa na provázku in Brno, the Prague City Theatres, and Theatre LETÍ. He is currently a member of the Činoherní studio in Ústí nad Labem. Michal also works as a voice actor – his voice can be heard, for instance, in Elemental or the series Dead Boy Detectives.


Vojtěška Dubcová

Vojtěška is a visual artist, rapper, and gardener studying in the New Media II Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. Her work connects performance and music with feminism and environmental activism. She explores themes of care, degrowth, and queer perspectives, creating works that balance humor, critical reflection, and playful imagination.
