Who would have thought Mad could feel so miserable after the surgery of their dreams? The initial euphoria soon gives way to frustration: the scars look horrific, they can barely move from the pain, and their partner is always too busy. Mad is struggling with their body – but even more with the thought of having to ask their oblivious mother for help.
