Mahmoud claims he doesn’t know where his son has disappeared. He spends his days praying at the mosque – but he isn’t asking Allah for his son’s return. Meanwhile, a large bonfire smolders near the village, and the police discover remnants of women’s clothing in it… This minimalist police thriller tells a tragic story from a country where a different identity may be used to justify an honor killing.
