Documentary

When sixteen-year-old Ana decided to stop hiding her girlfriend from her parents, she was met with incomprehension which affected her whole life. Under the pretence of treating drug addiction, which Ana had never suffered from, her mother had her hospitalized in a psychiatric ward. Doctor Mirjana Vulin tried to cure her homosexuality for five years. Well, only when Ana, after half a year of torment, “voluntarily” confessed to being a drug addict.  The horrifyingly real film follows four seasons of Ana's post-traumatic life. Her fiancée and their plans for a wedding in Amsterdam help her deal with the terrors of the past. However, she still cannot let go of her thirst for revenge. It is difficult to forgive her parents, but it's basically unthinkable to forgive doctor Vulin. Finding justice is Ana's most essential life motivation. The chilling true story from recent times and from a country not far away unfolds like a breathtaking drama of one life as a journey back from the darkness of misused psychiatric care.
