In a discussion between Tereza (Narrative) and Robert (Design), we would like to introduce storytelling and design elements in which queer stories and topics are presented in contemporary video game narratives. With a brief tie-in to how queer themes have evolved in both film and games––and how this evolution connects to the development of queer-themed titles––we’d love to invite a debate on the differences and similarities between the two media and how these influence our own experience of queer stories.
