What’s happening to Europe? In recent years, European countries have seen a rise in extremist parties and movements, often fueled by hateful rhetoric targeting LGBTQIA+ communities, amid tense geopolitical situations. How do we cope with this reality, take care of our mental health, and understand the situation in the Czech Republic – and where are we headed?

These questions and more will be explored by Lucia Zachariášová, director of the Jsme fér initiative; Andrea Stašek, researcher at the Masaryk University Institute for Psychological Research; Iveta Jansová, Head of the Department of Media Studies and Journalism at FSS MU; and Lucie Čejková, FSS MU expert on social media and disinformation.
