The 24th edition of QFF Mezipatra in the capital has ended. However, the festival is moving to Brno. From November 10 to 17, you can look forward to screenings of the best that has emerged in queer cinematography this year.

PROGRAM

The ceremonial opening will be led by drag queen Ivory Divine, who will enchant you with her performance. The opening film for Brno will be the movie  Blue Jean, depicting a teacher from 1980s Great Britain who must keep her sexual orientation a secret. The film offers a audience-friendly insight into the soul of a young woman, bringing the aesthetics of the '80s retro and many powerful moments, raising the challenging question: How would I behave?

Blue Jean Official 3rd Still Graded

After the film screening, two DJ stages and dancing until morning await everyone from 9:30 p.m. onwards.

In addition to great films, you can also attend various accompanying events in Brno. Part of the program includes, for example, various speed dating sessions, discussions on "Care for the Soul" about the mental health of the queer community, and the talk show "V Tranzu" with the unbeatable Lenka Králová.

V Tranzu

In Brno, we will also find out the winner of the Audience Award. The announcement will take place on November 17 at the festive closing of the festival at 7:00 p.m. at Kino Art. Until then, you can vote for your favorite film during the screenings. After the ceremony, there will be a screening of the film Drifter about Moritz, who immerses himself more and more into the nocturnal Berlin party life. Following the film, a unique closing party will take place at Fléda, featuring performances by KISTENN, Don Juan Disco, and Vojtík, among others.
