For the first time the history of our festival, we will present an industry program called Queering the Industry for professionals from the audiovisual industry. During the first festival weekend (November 9–10, 2019), a number of discussions will take place about the current issues and challenges that can be encountered in terms of production, production or promotion of the film as well as finding a suitable audience.

Both evenings will end with a masterclass of renowned queer cinema artists. On Saturday, American director Rhys Ernst will talk about his recent film Adam (2019), which will be screened in the main film competition of the festival. Sunday's program will be concluded by American producer Michael Raisler, whose portfolio includes films such as Beach Rats or We the Animals. He will talk abour how to best promote independent queer films in competition with commercial works.

The aim of the new industry program is to provide different perspectives on the current state of LGBTQ + films and industry, while creating a platform for regular meetings of film professionals. We hope you will enjoy it! All events will take place in our community café Patra (Krymská 17, Prague 10) and will be open to public (festival passes are not required).
