You can buy the passes for CZK 690 in Prague at the Lucerna, Světozor and Pilotů cinemas, and at the Art cinema in Brno. Either at the box office or online (except for the Pilotů cinema in Vršovice). They will be on sale until October 14, 2021, when we will reveal the full program. After that, you can exchange them at the box offices of the respective cinemas for tickets to specific films.

Theme: Celebrate Life

And what can you look forward to? The theme of this year's festival is Celebrate Life, which will appear throughout the whole film and accompanying program. There will be the main feature films competition, the short films will also compete for a prize and there will be documentaries and retro films like you're used to. The dominant part of the accompanying program is the Industry section for film professionals and you are of course invited to attend our parties or understand queer issues in great discussions.

Revealing bits of the film program

You definitely shouldn't miss The Divide, winner of this year's Queer Palm in Cannes. The harsh story set in a Paris hospital captivated the jury with unrivaled portraits of people with different social backgrounds, political beliefs and fates. With the demonstration in the streets, the tension in the ambulance, where the differences between the characters deepen dramatically, becomes stronger..

The jewel of the documentary section is the bold film Genderation. The iconic queer creator Monika Treut returns to the characters of the trans movement in San Francisco in the 90s. Through very open conversations, it reflects on the past two decades and asks questions about LGBTQ+ rights, environmental activism and increasingly current gentrification. Can a rich technological power be home to a truly diverse society at all?

Just like us, you'll surely love the sensitive film Boy Meets Boy. It will take you to Berlin, where a wild party turns into a witty conversation between two men who are wandering around the city and confronting their attitudes, values and idea of love. An honest mumblecore won a special jury prize at the Kiev Film Festival.
