The Mezipatra Queer Film Festival once again welcomes film personalities from all over the world. Prague audiences will have the chance to meet them in person during discussions following selected screenings. A new addition to this year’s program is a series of discussions with local and international experts.

Films in the Feature Film Competiton

Director Steve Bache and screenwriter Stephan Kämpf: No Dogs Allowed

On Friday, November 8, director Steve Bache and screenwriter Stephan Kämpf will personally introduce the German drama No Dogs Allowed — their first collaboration and also their feature debut.
The film deals with the difficult topic of pedophilia with sensitivity, complexity, and empathy rather than sensationalism. This careful approach was reflected not only in the story but also in the production process, where the creators closely collaborated with psychologists and intimacy coordinators.
The story follows a 12-year-old boy navigating relationships with adults and the complicated situations that come with them.
