Are you wondering how to spend November evenings? Then it's good you've come here. We have disclosed the program of the 18th Mezipatra edition, so you can choose from dozens of films and accompanying events.

The film program will include over fifty feature and short films. This year, they are connected by the motto of Be Your Own Champion, which examines role models and their absence, the search for and expressions of our identity, and also relates to the fact that Mezipatra has symbolically reached its adulthood this year. You can read more about this year's theme here.

International Feature Film Competition

You can look forward to our staple feature film competition, which will introduce for example the long-awaited biographic Tom of Finland, American indie drama called Beach Rats, German relationship drama Paths (Ein Weg), and Thelma, the Norwegian mystery thriller which will compete for this year's Oscar.

Documentary

This year's documentaries follow fascinating protagonists, from a key personality of the trans movement in The Death and Life of Marsha P. Johnson, to a son of Pakistani immigrants in Abu, to a stand-up comedian who has lost all his limbs but not the love of his life in Stumped.

Retrospective

The popular retro section will take us back to Thatcher's UK in the still refreshing comedy called My Beautiful Laundrette, and also to East Germany just before the Berlin Wall fell thanks to drama Coming Out. And we will close in grand style with the iconic All About My Mother (Todo sobre mi madre) by Pedro Almodóvar.
