Mezipatra is pleased to invite you to the free accompanying program dedicated to film and audiovisual media, which will take place on Friday and Saturday, November 7 and 8, 2025, at the Anežka Café in Prague.
In line with this year’s film program, we’ll focus on the region of Central Europe and its current political landscape, which makes it increasingly challenging to develop queer art. You can look forward to a panel discussion dedicated to festivals from the V4 region and Ukraine, as well as a talk on building queer communities with representatives of Czech and Austrian queer collectives.
Because the world of audiovisual media has long since moved beyond cinema, we will also offer a glimpse into other forms of storytelling––from Czech Television’s TV series production to queer gaming, which will be the topic of Saturday's participatory debate in cooperation with the No Fun collective.
The aim of this year's industry program is to support the development of new films, create space for sharing experiences, and connect creators with industry professionals. One of the main new features is cooperation with the OUTPITCH workshop––on Friday, three creators from the V4 region and Ukraine will present their film projects in development. On Saturday, one of the projects will be awarded and receive financial support for further development.
