International Feature Film Competition

In a bungalow at the picture-perfect lakeside of a natural reserve, fisherwoman Rosa lives with her architect girlfriend Karen. Their worldview is utterly different: Rosa cares about tattered fishnets, stolen salmon and those sport fishers who never learn, while Karen is mostly interested in the size of her bank account and lucrative construction contracts. When a couple of attractive students show up, the foursome of women develops a relationship, that brings out their differences in matters of love, sex and life in general. They all spend the Indian summer days boozing, smoking pot and flirting, which starts getting out of hand. What is at first a frivolously idyllic friendship comes to be the turning point for Rosa and Karen's future together. Screenwriter-director Zoltan Paul's third feature excels in this fresh portrait of its heroines, acting performances and compelling visuals that support the disquieting sense that nothing appears to be the way it first seems.
