Kapaemahu

International Short Film Competition

Kapaemahu are four mythical stones placed on a Hawaiian beach as a tribute to legendary healers and their miraculous power. This fairy-tale journey into the mythology of the island culture reminds us that being non-binary was originally considered a superhuman, godly trait that had the power to save lives and write history.
