Take Me To Prom

International Short Film Competition

Proms in films usually mean a happy ending sealed with a kiss in the middle of the dance floor. However, the memories of queer high-schoolers as reconstructed by this documentary are usually more complicated. This cross-section of nostalgic experiences since the 1950s fortunately shows that we can ask anybody for a dance now.
