Portraits of extraordinary personalities and stories of seemingly ordinary characters, insights into most diverse subcultures, numerous questions and frequent difficulties with looking for an answer. You'll find all this in the six distinctive documentaries that we've selected for you this year.

It wouldn't be quite right without a retrospective section. We are returning on the big screen four films which have irrevocably become a part of the queer cinema history.

Ten films from Europe and America are competing for the title of the Best Feature Film (and an original award designed by Dechem studio).

We have revealed the program of the 17^th Mezipatra, so you can finally plan your schedule for November. What film or event will you visit?

It's time to reveal a closely guarded secret! Those coming to the NEONE club on Tuesday, 18^th October, will find out about the highlights of this year's program, and will be the first ones to see the trailer for the 17^th edition of Mezipatra, which was created by the actress, director and musician Johana Svarcova.

Impatient souls and loyal fans, beware! Highlight 19^th October in your diary – that is the day we will reveal the whole program of this year’s Mezipatra.

In cooperation with the Be2Can festival, Mezipatra will introduce the Venezuelan-Mexican drama From Afar (Desde allá). The screening takes place on 9th October at 7:30pm in the big screening hall of Lucerna cinema.

Mezipatra is coming and we have fresh information about what you can look forward to. As usual, it will start with its Prague part, which will take place from 3^rd to 10^th November. The festival will continue in Brno from 11^th to 18^th November, followed by echoes in Olomouc from 23^rd to 27^th November and Hradec Kralove from 8^th to 9^th December..
