Let's look back at the Summer Film School in Uherské Hradiště, where we screened the French drama Sauvage. The improvised cinema at the local gym was more than full and we thank you for that! The program director Sandra, who also introduced the film, and DJ Tasya, played awesome music at the afterparty.

If you haven't visited the screening or want to recall this rough film by Camille Vidal-Naquet, you have the opportunity today at the Evald cinema in Prague at 9:00 p.m.

The traditional parade for LGBTQ + rights (this year on August 10, 2019) is the high light of Prague Pride, which was also evident in its abundant participation. To accompany our walk, from our car played DJ Step by Step, which you may know from our festival parties. Thank you for the amazing atmosphere. And as they say, without rain there is no rainbow!

Friday evening at the accompanying program Prague Pride Identity in the city 9. 8. 2019 we competed for beautiful prizes in the queer pub quiz. Moderated by the well-known Prague drag queen Just Karen, which you could see on the Mezipatra car on Saturday parade. The quiz was followed by a screening of selected short films from 2018.

On the third day of the Prague Pride accompanying program  Identity in the citydentity in the city on August 8, 2019, we organised a debate on Queer Art during the climate crisis. Visual artist and performer Darina Alster, her pupil, artist and stage designer Jan Matýsek, and curator Zuzana Jakalová (Display - Association for Research and Collective Practice) came to discuss. Radim Labuda took the chair. Thematically, we continued with  screening of the retro film High Art.

On July 18, 2019, the festive premiere of Sauvage, the French drama of Camille Vidal-Naquet and the first film of our new distribution brand Queer Kino, took place in the Lucerna Cinema. On the first day of the Prague Pride Identity in the city accompanying program on August 6, 2019 we held a discussion BFFs with guests Jamie Emma Rose and Petr Vostárek (Chi Chi Tornado), moderated by Bára Šichanová from ČRo Wave. Despite the unfavorable weather forecast, the sky eventually cleared out, so we screened an uncanny road movie Brief story from the green planet (Breve historia del planeta verde) in the open air.

The second day (Augst 7, 2019) of the accompanying program Prague Pride Identity in the City we talked about how tolerance is taught in schools, in the discussion School is the foundation of Life with interesting guests: Vítězslav Slíva, who deals with gender equality or research on homophobia and transphobia at the Czech schools, high school teacher Jiří Ratajík and Zdeněk Sloboda (PROUD), a university educator, sociologist and activist who professionally assessed the Rainbow Handbook for Teachers. Discussion was followed by a screening of the film Jonas, which is thematically set in the school environment.
